Rowan County Master Gardeners must contribute volunteer hours to the community as part of their payment and commitment to Cooperative Extension. In every volunteer organization there are those that are willing to donate extra time and effort for both the organization and the community. Those that fall into this criteria are called 'Silver Cans".
