Ongoing droughts, water restrictions and plant loss have many replanting more drought tolerant plants around the home and gardens. Many materials obviously have the ability to survive droughts such as cacti and succulents, however there are other alternatives. Attractive landscapes can be achieved with careful selection, placement and well-planned irrigation systems.  Below is a partial list of plant materials that have the ability to withstand periodic droughts.
